Willow

Back

Willow Class have read and studied the story of Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl.  They have read the story, listened to a CD version, and read the play together.  They made fox masks and have written poems.  The poems are based on a song sung by Mr Fox and use rhythm and rhyme in talking about the farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean.

This is an example of work created through Microsoft Paint.  The children had to produce a picture to show that they could use: pencil, pen, colour fill, spray can, select, copy, paste, rotate, flip and resize.  They had to make sure that they copied their image with no background.  Willow Class are very capable computer users!

This piece of ICT work linked with Fantastic Mr Fox was also created using paint only this time the children had to come up with an invention design to remove the foxes from the farm.  They used shape tools and text boxes to draw and label their invention with a minimum of free hand drawing.
