As their Science topic this term, Birch Class have been studying the weather.  They have looked at weather symbols and the weather forecast.  They have generated many words to describe weather.

In DT, they thought about what they would put in a sandwich to sell.  They had to make the sandwich and design packaging.  They looked at some packaging to see they kind of information which was included and made sure that they included the necessary parts.

They have also looked at a Chinese story which describes how stars were put into the sky to repair holes, they wrote and painted the different parts of the story.

For Science week they launched a rocket which flew right over the village!  Mr Souter was very excited!
