Birch Class have been looking at stories from other countries. The story above is a traditional tale from China which linked to their Geography. They had to re-write part of the story as a group and illustrate the part of the story which they had written. |

As part of a weather topic, the children had to form a group and perform a weather forecast to the class. They researched by looking at weather forecasts from television, learning the symbols used and finding places on a map. They had to write a script together, using appropriate layout, and present the finished report to the rest of the children. |
